After one hundred years of use, the historic piers that make up the Downtown Ferry Terminal now require repairs to the structural fabric beneath the deck to maintain them in a safe condition for the ongoing use of Auckland’s ferry commuters.

ARTA is currently undertaking remedial works to restore these piers.

The majority of the work is expected to be completed mid-2010.
