Guidelines for 2009/10 – 2011/12 RLTP Funding Applications
Recent initiatives, including the formation of the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) through the merger of Land Transport NZ and Transit NZ, the New Zealand Transport Strategy 2008, Government Policy Statement and the Land Transport Management Amendment Act require changes to the procedures and practice throughout the transport sector. The Regional Land Transport Programmes will form the basis of a programme of works which Approved Organisations will request funding subsidy from NZTA and must be consistent with the relevant Government Policy Statement. ARTA will prepare the Auckland RLTP for the Auckland region and submit it to NZTA. The Guidelines for 2009/10 – 2011/12 RLTP Funding Applications are designed to assist with the development of activities for submission to ARTA and inclusion in the Auckland RLTP.
